Gathered Wild

Inspired by the Australian natives that have caught my eye in Gippsland lately, Gathered Wild brings together banksias and the extraordinary pink Hakea ‘Ninbella Brilliance’. Rather than painting each flower exactly as it appears, I’ve allowed the forms to become tangled together through layers of colour, loose marks and texture. The result is a joyful, slightly wild collection of native flora, gathered together on canvas.
